Welsh judo star Jamie MacDonald tragically loses battle with cancer at the age of 26

BRITISH judo ace Jamie MacDonald has tragically passed away after losing his battle with cancer.
The Welshman, who competed at the 2014 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow, died at the age of 26.
MacDonald had been diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumour in 2015.
His mother announced his death on his blog on Sunday night which read: "Sadly Jamie lost the biggest fight of his life this afternoon.
"He died at home, peacefully and in no pain. Jamie is 26 years old, his 27th birthday will be in a week. Xx Jamie's mum.”
Tributes have poured in from around the sporting world as athletes and friends come to terms with the heartbreaking news.
Former Wales team-mate Natalie Powell tweeted: "Absolutely devastated to hear that Jamie MacDonald has lost his battle with cancer.
"Truly one of the cleverest, kindest, funniest guys I've had the pleasure of knowing.
"His courage over the last few years has been incredible."
British Judo wrote: "Everyone at British Judo would like to extend our deepest condolences to Jamie MacDonald's family and friends after he passed away earlier today following a battle with cancer."
Fellow judo athlete Kyle Davies posted a picture alongside MacDonald with the caption: "REST IN PEACE BROTHER. love you pal x".
