WWE legend Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson will place belt around Jorge Masvidal’s waist if he beats Nate Diaz at UFC 244
UFC 244 already promises to be a bumper night – now it is about to get even more electrifying.
Jorge Masvidal and Nate Diaz are set to headline the Madison Square Garden event on November 2.
And they will be battling it out for newly-formed “Bad Motherf****r” crown.
Now Masvidal, 34, has called on WWE legend and Hollywood’s highest-earner actor Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson to attend the New York City showdown to place the title around his waist.
And “The Great One” has vowed to do “all I can” to be there in the Big Apple.
“Gamebred” tweeted the former wrestling world champ saying: “@TheRock I’m telling @danawhite i want you to put it around my waist 305 all day #supernecessary.”
The Rock did not take long to respond, replying: “Doing all I can to make this fight. If I can and you win, I’ll put the belt around your waist at MSG - consider it done. Already shaping up to be one of the biggest and most electrifying fights in @ufc history. Can’t wait. @GamebredFighter @NateDiaz209 #respect #BMF #UFC244.”
MMA fans around the globe are already brimming with excitement over the upcoming clash.
But the introduction of The Rock into the fray will only whet the appetite further – and is likely to boost pay-per-view buys even further.
Everything the ex-wrestling superstar, who married long-time girlfriend Lauren Hashian last month, seems to turn to gold.

Meanwhile, UFC president Dana White has confirmed how the newly-created BMF belt will work – revealing the winner will not defend it.
He said: “It’s a one-and-done. Whoever wins, wins the belt and claims the title. ‘BMF.’”
