And the Scotland international, who qualifies through his grandmother, revealed that even when he is at home there is no escape – as four-year-old son Bailey joins in and belts it out.

“My little fella’s singing it non-stop,” said the 29-year-old full-back, who will shake off a knee injury that was found to be more severe than first thought after what he calls ‘crappy news.’

“I can’t get away from it, it’s crazy. He sings it as soon as he wakes up first thing in the morning and he’s singing it always after matches.

“You don’t get anything like that in Australia. I didn’t know the tune She’s Electric beforehand. I had to ask what song it was at first. Now I do and I like it.”

Meanwhile, SunSport understands Tonga boss Kristian Wolff has not yet been given the job of replacing coach Justin Holbrook, who is heading to NRL side Gold Coast Titans.

St Helens sources insist no decision has yet been made but it will shortly after they face Warrington at Wembley on Saturday.
