Sasha Banks returns to WWE on Raw with a new-look to attack Natalya and Becky Lynch following four-month exile
SASHA BANKS ended her WWE exile as she returned in stunning fashion on Monday Night Raw.
“The Boss” has not been seen in a WWE ring since she and Bayley lost the Women’s Tag-Team Titles at WrestleMania back in April.
Rumours have been swirling since that she asked for her release from the company due to becoming frustrated with her booking.
But 27-year-old Banks, real name Mercedes Kaestner-Varnado, ended speculation over her future with her shock comeback on Raw.
AGGRESSIVE ATTITUDE
And she certainly made a huge impact as she battered both Natalya and Becky Lynch in an unexpected twist.
Natalya, who was unsuccessful in her attempt to dethrone Raw Women’s Champion Lynch 24 hours earlier at SummerSlam, had entered the ring.
The “Queen of Harts” was out to address the WWE Universe as the night marked the one-year anniversary since her Hall of Fame father Jim “The Anvil” Neidhart passed away.
However, suddenly Banks’ music hit as the crowd erupted and the former Women’s Title holder heading ringside to seemingly console her friend.
Instead she sucker-punched Natalya before ripping off her purple wig to unveil an all-new blue hairstyle to go with her new-found aggressive attitude.
She continued to pummel Natalya, who had also revealed she had suffered a dislocated elbow the night previous, until Lynch raced down to try and come to the aid of her rival.
But Banks fought off “The Man” with a steel chair, repeatedly hitting the Irish ace with it until officials finally managed to stop the attack.
“The Boss” is well and truly back with a bang.
