HUGHIE FURY was involved in a shambles of a fight in Saudi Arabia - but got the victory against Samuel Peter.
It was all over in the seventh round as Peter was pulled out with an apparent dislocated shoulder - which he seemed to blame referee Ingo Barrabas for.
Peter had hammered in two low blows to Fury, cousin to Love Island star Tommy and heavyweight comeback king Tyson, before the referee rushed in to separate the fighters.
After catching one of Peter's punches to the nose, Barrabas pushed him to the ropes, from where the 38-year-old claimed his shoulder popped out.
After a three-minute delay with doctor's called to the apron, it was eventually waved off.
There were worrying signs for the "Nigerian Nightmare" at the end of the first round as he lumbered blowing back to his corner despite barely throwing a punch.
The second round saw Fury, with his tight white socks pulled up to his knees, land at ease, with his footwork seeing him miss most of Peter's wild lunges.
But Fury allowed that work-rate to drop in the third, neglecting the jab and looking for the big right.
Peter looked visibly exhausted as he came out for the fourth, and a minute in was deducted a point for landing one on Fury after the referee had told them to break.
In the fifth round Peter was again warned by the referee after he thundered a low blow into Fury and then clubbed him on the back of the head.
Dirty tactics by the Las Vegas-based Nigerian in the sixth saw him again deliver a low blow that was missed by the ref.
In the seventh round those watching at the King Abdullah Sports City in Jeddah and live on Channel5 were put out of their misery in the most ludicrous of circumstances.
