Amir Khan slammed by bitter rival Kell Brook for ‘talking crap’ after claims pair were in talks to finally settle score in ring

KELL BROOK has blasted Amir Khan as a “time waster” after his bitter rival claimed a fight is “a possibility”.

The two have long been linked with a bout, with the idea first mooted in 2014.

But Brook was having none of Khan’s latest claims, saying the Bolton fighter “talks crap.”

Khan, who is set to fight Billy Dib in Saudi Arabia on July 12, told : “Definitely, [a fight with Brook] is a possibility.”

The Bolton boxer said he informed his lawyer to start negotiating with Brook and his team.

“There’s some big fights out there and Kell being one of them, that’s what we’re looking at,” he added.

“I did get a call from my lawyer the other day saying, ‘Oh, they wanna start talking about the Kell Brook fight negotiations.’

“I go, ‘Look, go ahead, let’s start to negotiate, let’s see what can happen in that fight.’

“That’s still a fight that the people in Britain want to see.

“Regardless which way Kell’s gone and which way I’ve gone, still in the UK that’d be a massive fight.

“I’d love to take that fight so I told my lawyer to go there and start negotiations.”

But Brook is not interested and says Khan is all talk.

“Amir Khan doesn’t want the fight, he talks crap,” Brook told .

“I haven’t got time for time wasters.”
