'BEING CONSIDERED'

Tyson Fury in talks with drug cheat Jarrell Miller over October showdown at MSG as Frank Warren lays into rival promoter Eddie Hearn

TYSON FURY could fight drug-cheat Jarrell Miller in his next fight in the US.

The Gypsy King is expected to have one more warm-up before the big one - the rematch against Deontay Wilder.

And his promoter Frank Warren has admitted that Miller, who was pulled from a world title fight against Anthony Joshua after failing a drugs test, is being "considered".

The US boxer failed a doping test for banned 'muscle growth' substance GW1516.

The test results were from a random Voluntary Anti-Doping Association-conducted urine test Miller submitted to on March 20.

It resulted in him being pulled from the AJ fight, with Andy Ruiz Jr taking his place and going on to win three world titles with a seventh-round stoppage win.

BUILD UP TO WILDER REMATCH

Miller also revealed that he missed out on £24million as a result of the six-month ban he was hit with.

But with Fury desperate for a higher calibre of opponent, New Yorker Miller could well be the one to get a shot at the Lineal champ.

Hall of fame promoter Warren told : "The objective is to build up to him fighting Deontay Wilder again after their highly controversial first meeting which obviously should have resulted in a victory for Tyson.

"Hopefully, we get him in there with an American later this year and I am open to the prospect of Jarrell Miller being Tyson’s next opponent.

MILLER AN OPTION

"Miller’s failed drugs tests cost him a shot at Anthony Joshua in June and a six-month suspension. I'm really anti-drugs and I think there should be some seriously, seriously strict penalties for it.

"I don't police the sport, that is up to the governing bodies, and they're letting everyone down by handing these pathetic little bans out.

"The only way they're going to get rid of drugs in sport and boxing is draconian measures. There's no place for it. There has to be severe consequences.

"But having been handed only a short suspension, Miller will be ready to return to the ring in September and, if he's licenced, then there's nothing I can do about that.

"He'll be considered by us."

"I've seen Eddie Hearn having a little moan about Miller being a potential opponent for Fury next but, you know, this is the guy that put Daniel Jacobs in with Canelo and who promoted Alexander Povetkin."

Fury battered German Tom Schwarz out in his latest fight, stopping the previously undefeated man in the second round.
