PATRICK REED served up cowboy steak as part of a traditional Texan feast at his Masters Champions Dinner on Tuesday night.
Ahead of this week's Major at Augusta, Reed, 28, performed the long-time tradition of putting together a menu for his fellow Green jacket winners.
A prime cowboy ribeye was the defending champ's choice of main course, preceded by either a caesar or wedge salad, and followed by a choice of desserts including tiramisu.
World No18 Reed worked with celebrity chef David Chang to put the spread together for his fellow champions.
These included 1992 winner Nick Faldo and Danny Willett, who shocked the golfing world three years ago as he took advantage of Jordan Spieth's collapse.
American Spieth was also in attendance as well as four-time winner Tiger Woods, Phil Mickelson, Jack Nicklaus, Sergio Garcia and Bubba Watson.
KING'S BANQUET
Reed's main course of Prime Bone-In Cowboy Ribeye was accompanied by mac & cheese, corn creme brulee, creamed spinach and steamed broccoli.
An alternate main course of Mountain Trout was also available.
For dessert, Reed and Chang served up tiramisu, vanilla bean creme brulee, and chocolate crunch & praline cheesecake.
These were washed down with a choice of wines including a 2015 Chateau Montaleta Californian chardonnay, costing £44, or the 2013 Caymus Vineyards 41st Anniversary cabernet sauvignon for £76.
The tradition began in 1952 when then champion Ben Hogan suggested an annual dinner for past winners.
Reed's focus ahead of the sit-down was on the tales that would be told by a table of champions stretching back more than 50 years.
He said: "It's going to be a very fun night.

"Honestly, I just can't wait to go out and spend time with the past champions and hear different stories and be able to talk to the guys about, you know, how their experience was winning their first, whether it was a couple years ago, whether it was a long time ago.
"I mean, everyone has their different stories, and I just can't wait to kind of be in there and to listen to what they say."
Willett's Champions Dinner in 2017 was a traditional British meal, including mini cottage pies, a Sunday roast and apple crumble.
Back in 1997, Faldo also went down the English theme with a feast of fish and chips.
The most thoughtful of menus came from Sergio Garcia last year when his starter of an international salad included ingredients chosen from countries that represented his fellow champions.
This year's tournament begins on Thursday with a new champion crowned on Sunday.
