CONOR McGREGOR has slammed a close pal of bitter rival Khabib Nurmagomedov after he was banned for life for doping.
Ruslan Magomedov who fought three times at heavyweight in the UFC, is from the same Dagestan region of Russia as Khabib.
The USADA revealed that the 32-year-old has fallen foul of three doping violations, in one of those FIVE illegal substances were discovered.
McGregor, whose feud with Khabib seems to be continuing despite losing to him in the octagon, couldn't resist in shaming Magomedov on social media.
He uploaded a photo of the fighter alongside fellow Dagestanis Khabib and Zubaira Tukhugov, who was banned for doping for two years and also attacked the Irishman after his defeat to Khabib.
He captioned it: "Wow another Dagestani caught abusing steroids.
That’s two out of three in this picture busted for steroid abuse, with the most recent being busted three times in a row and now hit with a lifetime ban.
"Excellent job @JeffNovitzkyUFC. The only vice that cannot be forgiven is hypocrisy."
MCREGOR ACCUSED OF RACISM
A statement on Magomedov's lifetime ban from the USADA read: "USADA announced today that Ruslan Magomedov, of Krasnoyarsk, Russia, has received a lifetime sanction after his second and third violations of the UFC® Anti-Doping Policy.
"Magomedov’s lifetime period of ineligibility began on November 5, 2018, the date his provisional suspension was imposed."
By posting the tweet, McGregor could be trying to take the heat off himself, after he was accused of using a racial slur in his latest attack on Khabib.
McGregor, 30, tweeted a picture of Nurmagomedov on his wedding day in which the fighter's partner has a veil covering her face, a tradition in Muslim culture.
The tweet was captioned: “Your wife is a towel mate.”
McGregor, who recently announced his retirement from UFC, swiftly deleted the tweet but not before it was retweeted thousands of times with many accusing the MMA fighter of Islamophobia.
The Irish star has faced backlash from fans who called the MMA fighter a “racist”.
