Four-time Masters winner was left laughing at the joke by a superfan ahead of next month's trip to Augusta
TIGER WOODS was left grinning at the sight of his DUI mugshot printed on a superfan's T-shirt.
The prank took place at the Players Championship earlier this month between the 17th green and 18th tee box at TPC Sawgrass.
Woods, the 14-time major winner, recognised the familiar face staring back at him in the crowd.
Spectator Thomas Wesling was wearing a T-shirt with Woods' mugshot from his 2017 DUI arrest printed across the front.
As the American made his way through the crowd, Wesling called out to catch Woods' attention.
The usually focused look is lost as 43-year-old Woods grins at the joke.
Wesling posted the video to Twitter and the footage has been viewed more than one million times.
He wrote: "I had Tiger reminiscing about his glory days."
Wesling told the : "I knew if I could get any reaction out of it from him, it'd be priceless.
"I thought if he saw it he might get mad and have someone make me take it off. I thought that was possible or that he might think it was finny.
"If I could get a smirk out of it, that would be perfect."
He finished joint-30th at the Players and, after missing the Valspar Championship, Woods has dropped from No.11 to No.14 in the world rankings.
Woods, the four-time Masters champ, took a week off to prepare for next month's trip to Augusta but is competing in the WGC-Dell Technologies Match Play event this week.
He said: "I’ve got one more event before Augusta.
"You see me smiling because because the Masters is unlike any other tournament.
"I still need to get cleaner around the greens. I need to clean that up and get more of the easier up-and-downs guaranteed and I’ll hit them in a little closer."
