Neymar reveals he is ‘attracted’ to playing for Real Madrid while seemingly ruling out Barcelona return

Brazil international has been linked with a Nou Camp return, but he now looks keen to join their bitter rivals in Madrid instead

PARIS SAINT-GERMAIN star Neymar has fuelled speculation over his future by saying he feels "attracted" to a Real Madrid move.

The Brazil international insists he has already fulfilled his dream of playing for Barcelona despite claims linking him with a Nou Camp return.

Los Blancos have reportedly made Neymar their No1 target as they prepare to rebuild in the summer after a dreadful first post-Zidane season.

PSG are thought to be open to offloading their star in order to comply with Financial Fair Play regulations, with the move made more likely by the rise of Kylian Mbappe.

And the 27-year-old winger - who was seen practising his cheerleading at a carnival in Brazil while out with a foot injury - has failed to rule out a Madrid switch, although he insists he feels great in Paris.

He told Globo TV: "If I want to play for Madrid? They are one of the biggest clubs in the world.

"Any player linked with Real Madrid would feel attracted to play there.

"I feel happy in Paris, I am very well here, but, in the future, nobody knows.

"It is obvious that Real Madrid are a great team, one of the best in the world, I have great respect for them but, today, I see myself in Paris.

"A footballer's life is very fast. Things happen at unexpected moments, nobody knows what will happen tomorrow."

Neymar has been heavily linked with a return to Barcelona despite leaving the club for PSG in a controversial £198m move in 2017.

And when asked about his friendship with the Catalans' star Lionel Messi recently, the Brazilian was nearly crying recalling the support he received from the Argentine during his time in Spain.

But the Brazilian has seemingly dealt a blow to Barcelona's hoped of bringing him back as he has implied that chapter of his career is already closed.

He added: "My objective was to play for Barcelona, it was my dream and I accomplished it, everyone knows.

"That was always my dream, it was something that I said since I was a child and I achieved it. I feel accomplished."

Despite being sidelined since late January due to his foot problem, Neymar has scored 20 goals - assisting in 11 - in 23 games for the Parisians.
