Chelsea fans fume that Alonso starts against Man Utd while Hudson-Odoi is left out
The Blues fought hard to keep the youngster at Stamford Bridge despite Bayern Munich's interest last month
CHELSEA boss Maurizio Sarri left Callum Hudson-Odoi on the bench while the underfire Marcos Alonso started the FA Cup clash against Manchester United.
And Blues fans were infuriated AGAIN by the Italian's line-up choices.
The 60-year-old coach snubbed the Chelsea starlet ahead of the humiliating 6-0 defeat to Manchester City, sparking fury among the club's supporters.
Blues fans also lashed out at assistant manager Gianfranco Zola who defended Sarri's treatment of the 18-year-old winger.
Chelsea rejected numerous bids from Bayern Munich for Hudson-Odoi last month, despite the youngster handing in a transfer request to force the move through.
And since his desperate attempt to leave Stamford Bridge was thwarted by the club, the winger has been given only 19 minutes of playing time by Sarri.

And Chelsea fans, seeing Hudson-Odoi benched again on Monday evening, voiced their discontent.
One wrote: "Sarri... why pick Alonso again? What’s wrong with Emerson? Why pick Pedro? As per normal, why can’t you pick Hudson-Odoi? Your tactics are like cement. Stuck with one plan only!"
While another added: "Sarri won't give up on Marcos Alonso", alongside disappointed-looking emojis.
A third wrote: "Okay so why Chelsea decided to fool Hudson-Odoi more? And why didn't cash in on him when he wasn't going to play? Will get lower amount in the summer."
And when a fourth wrote "I'm sure CHO is rest because Sarri knows he will play him as a starter against Malmö", another replied "Nonsense".
Bayern will reportedly come back for Hudson-Odoi in the summer having "fallen in love" with the Chelsea academy product.
