Wanda Nara has car window ‘smashed by rock’ in front of kids as Icardi crisis at Inter Milan takes violent turn
The Argentine striker is also facing problems on the pitch after being stripped of the Inter Milan captaincy
MAURO ICARDI'S wife-turned-agent Wanda Nara has had her car window "smashed by a rock" in front of their children as the Inter Milan striker's off-field problems continue.
The Argentine is in limbo at his current club Inter Milan after being stripped of the captaincy and dropped from the Nerazzurri's first team squad.
With tensions continuing to rise, Wanda's car was hit with a rock whilst travelling near the San Siro with her children in the vehicle,
The 32-year-old has three sons with Icard's former Inter teammate Maxi Lopez, Valentino, 10, Constantino, 8, and Benedict, 6, as well as daughters, Francesca, 4, and Isabella, 2, with the Argentine striker.
It is known which of the kids were in the car during the incident, and although no one was hurt, it is likely to escalate the tension between the Icardi family and Inter fans.
Icardi's sister Ivana had previously claimed that Wanda was to blame for the striker's on-going problems in Italy after accusing her of having "s*** for brains."
Wanda had said last month that Inter were yet to offer Icardi a new contract but Real Madrid reportedly pulled their interest in signing him because of his wife's behaviour.
Reports claimed San Siro chiefs were stalling on Icardi's £170,000-a-week wage demands before he was replaced as captain by goalkeeper Samir Handanovic.
Inter manager Luciano Spalletti spoke about the events, including the attack on Wanda's car, before the Nerazzurri's next clash against Sampdoria in Serie A.
He said: "The fundamental thing is being right. It's a matter of fairness for what concerns the team and Inter as a whole.
In the locker room, we say things directly to each other. Fairness towards the team goes takes precedence over everything - it's not a single player that determines a club.
"We are sorry to have to make this decision because Mauro is a strong player and we want to use the qualities of all our best players.
"We have to show our professionalism - we are willing to go over everything and everyone for the good of Inter. About what happened this morning to Wanda - I hope that whoever did this is held responsible."

Elsewhere on social media, Icardi's team-mate Marcelo Brozovic liked a photo on Instagram that revealed that the Argentine was no longer captain.
However, the Croatian midfielder won't have to explain his actions to his former captain yet after Icardi was axed from the Nerazzurri's first-team squad.
The Chelsea target's current deal expires in 2021 but despite the continued transfer speculation, Icardi has continued his good form this season with 15 goals in 28 games.
