Fury earned £7m from his first scrap that ended in a controversial draw and insisted he gave all the money to charity, as SunSport exclusively revealed.

In a Q&A with fans in Cardiff, he said: "I did give away my last purse but I don’t do charity work for a pat on the back.

"I do it to help people but I do not want praise for it, I don’t want to be called a do gooder."

He earned around £2.5m from the purse fight and the rest came from pay-per-view money that was collected across the world.

The two heavyweight giants battled it out for Wilder's WBC heavyweight belt on December 1 and now they are training to go toe-to-toe yet again later this year.

And with interest in the scrap set to increase, so will Fury's bank balance according to the Daily Mail.

The winner of the showdown could set up a future undisputed fight with the WBA, IBF and WBO heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua.

In the build-up to his initial draw, Fury insisted Wilder and his team had grossly underestimated him.

He said: "They think I’ve just come here to pick up a few quid.

"But I couldn’t care less about the money. I don’t have much use for it.

"I’m planning to give it all away to the poor and for building houses for the homeless.

"I will probably wind up like all the other boxers down the years, skint."
