CHRISTIAN PULISIC'S Chelsea career could get off to a disrupted start with the USA keen to call him up for the Gold Cup this summer.
The forward will join the Blues at the end of the season after landing him for a whopping £58million in January.
With Eden Hazard rumoured to be heading to Real Madrid in the summer, Chelsea will want their new boy fit and raring to go at the start of the next campaign.
But they are already facing the prospect of Pulisic missing a large chunk of pre-season.
The Gold Cup takes place between June 15 and July 7 and Pulisic will require an extended period of rest depending on how far the USA progress through the tournament.
Pulisic, 20, is already regarded as one their star players having scored nine times in 23 international appearances.
