MANCHESTER CITY take a private jet to Newcastle ahead of tonight's game - for a flight covering just 106 miles.
And it is unlikely they will even have time to enjoy a drink on board as the trip only lasts 39 minutes.
With the plane virtually going up and straight down, flight attendants will struggle to bring a coffee trolley around in time.
Commercial airlines do not even offer flight connections between Manchester and Newcastle, with the only option available being a three-and-a-half route via Southampton.
Pep Guardiola is trying to squeeze every minute out of training in order to prepare his side for their packed schedule in the coming weeks.
