NEWPORT fans celebrated their win over a Premier League side in style.
Just before the final whistle Newport fans turned to the BBC commentary box and celebrated their second goal in the face of Leicester City legend Gary Lineker.
The pundit took it with good humour and uploaded a video to his Twitter with the caption: "Think Newport County fans enjoyed that goal."
FA Cup clashes don't come better than this and fans at Rodney Parade enjoyed the moment that they had dumped the former Premier League champions out of the competition.
Despite taking an early lead, Leicester looked to have salvaged a draw when Rachid Ghezzal found the back of the net with a rocket strike.
But Newport were handed an opportunity to progress to the next round by Marc Albrington whose outstretched arm blocked a cross into the box.
The League Two club's hopes rested on Padraig Amond's shoulders and he took it all in his stride as he calmly sent the keeper the wrong way and slotted the ball into the middle of the goal.
After the 85th minute penalty, Newport County's ground erupted and fans next to the commentary box knew it was their time to rub the victory in to the former Leicester man.
Ian Wright and Alan Shearer were seen laughing at the scenes and the Arsenal legend took to his Twitter to share fans winding Lineker up further after the game.
As the sea of orange fans were leaving the stadium, they could be heard chanting 'Gary, Gary what's the score?' as Lineker stood outside the studio.
The pundit bellowed 2-1 to the crowd which was met with a chorus of cheers.
In the post-match coverage, Lineker was gracious in defeat and joked that he was absolutely thrilled for Newport in their victory over Leicester.
The League Two club's fans are likely to continue to celebrate, progressing to the fourth round, into the night
