Defender's future is uncertain and said it is "strange" he is waiting on a fresh deal
JORDI ALBA is favourite for a switch to Manchester as Barcelona are yet to open contract talks.
City lead the market and their arch-rivals at 2/1 as the Red Devils are second favourites at 4/1.
Spaniard's future at the Nou Camp is in doubt after admitting it is "strange" the club have still not offered him a new deal.
But he is still determined to see out his career with Barca, as his current deal expires in 2020.
Alba is yet to work with Guardiola after he was the first signing following the City manager's departure from the Nou Camp in 2012.
Meanwhile he could follow in the footsteps of former Barca full-back Dani Alves and joint second-favourites PSG.

A move to another La Liga rival is unlikely in the bookies' eyes with Atletico Madrid at 16/1 and a shock switch to Real Madrid 100/1.
spokesperson Katie Baylis said: “Barcelona may not have offered Alba a new deal yet but with his preference to stay at Camp Nou we think it’s unlikely he’ll be off in the next transfer window if not at all.
"However if he was to leave we see City as the most likely destination at 2/1 with United and PSG at 4/1 and Chelsea at 6/1.”
