Chelsea news: West Ham lead Premier League rivals in race for Gary Cahill, say bookies
Blues are willing to listen to loan offers for the 32-year-old defender in January
WEST HAM are favourites to land Gary Cahill as Chelsea will listen to loan offers for their captain in January.
The 32-year-old is allowed to leave Stamford Bridge after making just one league appearance this term.
The Irons are favourites to be the defender's next club at just 5/2 with the bookies.
West Ham lead Southampton (9/2) and Crystal Palace (11/2) in the market.
But the Blues captain has just one year remaining on his contract and could turn to a lucrative move in the US.
Cahill is 7/1 to join any MLS side, which is a shorter price than Prem sides Wolves and Leicester.

spokesperson Katie Baylis said: “With Chelsea open to loan deals for Cahill with his contract up at the end of the season there’s sure to be plenty of interest.
"West Ham and Southampton reportedly made enquiries earlier this year and we have the Hammers as the 5/2 favourites ahead of Saints at 9/2 to be his next club.
"Palace are at 11/2 while a move Stateside is at 7/1. A return to Aston Villa could also be an outside chance with John Terry looking for a solid central defender and a move to the Midlands club is at 12/1.”
