Man City are ODDS-ON favourites to land Dani Alves as PSG ace eyes Premier League move

DANI ALVES says he will play in the Premier League before retiring and Man City are odds-on favourites to be his next club.

The Brazilian hopes play in England's top flight before calling time on his illustrious career.

The 35-year-old has more trophies than any other active player in the game after having played for Barcelona, Juventus and PSG.

But after announcing his intentions of playing in the Prem, City are just 10/11 to be his next club.

Pep Guardiola's side lead Premier League rivals Chelsea, Liverpool and Man Utd in the bookies market.

"City are the big odds-on favourites 10/11 for his next club, with Chelsea at 4/1 and Liverpool at 13/2.

"However while he’s 35 and you would think in the twilight of his career, we also have Juventus at 11/4 for a possible next club before a move here if he chooses to finish his career in England.”

Speaking to the the , Alves said: “The idea that I might finish my career without going to the Premier League, it is not possible.

“For sure, this is the most amazing football in the world. First, because of the respect for the players from the fans, and then because of the passion on the pitch.

"If I can play, that would be perfect, but I will make it there one way or the other.”
