Manchester United to rival Chelsea for Bournemouth star forward Callum Wilson, say bookies
Blues are reportedly eyeing a move for the potent striker after an electric start for the Cherries
MANCHESTER UNITED are second favourites behind Chelsea to sign Bournemouth striker Callum Wilson.
Reports suggest the Blues are eyeing a move for Wilson after his strong start to the season.
The 26-year-old has attracted interest from the Premier League giants after scoring six times and providing four assists this term.
Chelsea are believed to be monitoring the 26-year-old as Betfair have them as favourites to be Wilson's next club at 5/2.
While Man Utd trail them in the market at 9/2 as Wilson is being earmarked for an England call up.
No English striker has been involved in as many goals as the Cherries striker - making it no surprise he is being linked with the likes of Chelsea and England.
Betfair: Callum Wilson next club
Chelsea - 5/2
Man Utd - 9/2
Everton - 7/1
West Ham - 10/1
Wolves - 12/1
Spurs - 12/1
Liverpool - 16/1
Man City - 20/1
Juventus - 25/1
Barca - 25/1
Betfair's Katie Bayliss said: "Wilson has had a great season so far for Bournemouth so it’s no surprise there are rumours that some of the bigger clubs are trying to sign him up.
"Chelsea look to be the ones most interested and are the 5/2 favourites to be his next club, followed by United at 9/2.”
The Blues could step up their interest in January, but Bournemouth are in somewhat a strong position with Wilson tied down at the Vitality Stadium until 2022.
