FLOYD MAYWEATHER insists he will fight Conor McGregor for a second time – after he beats Khabib Nurmagomedov.
Mayweather defeated McGregor last year in a boxing match with the former pound-for-pound 50-0 fighter stopping the Irishman in the tenth round.
Now Mayweather has said he intends on giving McGregor the rematch once he gets past Khabib.
Speaking to , Mayweather said: “McGregor was talking that s*** so it ain’t over.
“After Me and Khabib we lock-up, me and McGregor going to lock-up again.”
Mayweather said it was the “crazy numbers” that is the main reason behind him accepting challenges from UFC fighters.
He added: “They say, why you keep fighting all them MMA guys? – man listen, me and Khabib going to do crazy numbers, me and McGregor going to do crazy numbers.
“I only clash with guy that can do crazy numbers.”
When asked to clarify that he will be fighting both Khabib and McGregor in the future, Mayweather said: “Oh absolutely, we going to fight.
“A lot of people didn’t think me and McGregor was going to fight, I want to commend Dana White, he doing a hell of a job.
“But the thing with the Mayweather-McGregor fight, I’m glad that that happened because that made the UFC go up a notch, so all I’m doing is keeping all combat sports alive.
“All I got to say is this, Mayweather-Khabib, 2019.”
Mayweather responded to the call out of the UFC lightweight champion by indicating an interest in a scrap, telling his backers to put their hand in their pockets.
Posting on Twitter, Mayweather wrote: “CBS, Showtime and MGM Grand get the checkbook out!.
“Go to @leonardellerbe ‘s page to view Khabib Nurmagomedov challenging me.”
