KHAN'T HANDLE ME

Amir Khan claims Floyd Mayweather has been ‘ducking me for years’ and that his ‘style would cause him load of problems’ in astonishing rant

His post on Twitter led to many accusing him of doing the 'ducking' from Brit rival Kell Brook

AMIR KHAN has astonishingly accused Floyd Mayweather of "ducking him for years" as he appears to be tempting the undefeated American out of retirement.

The former two-weight world champion is making his own way back to the big time after signing a promotional deal with Matchroom and Eddie Hearn.

Khan has secured back-to-back victories against Phil Lo Greco and Samuel Vargas.

Against Lo Greco in his first fight for almost two years, Khan dazzled as he delivered a brutal KO in the very first round at the Echo Arena in Liverpool.

But against Vargas, despite a comprehensive points victory, the 31-year-old was criticised for not being able to get his man out of there.

He was also put down late in the second round against a boxer not renowned for explosive power.

But now Khan, who is constantly linked with a fight against fellow Brit Kell Brook, has his sights on a man who has never lost in 50 bouts.

He even copied in US rapper 50 Cent, well known for his own trolling of Mayweather on social media.

Posting on Twitter, Khan wrote: "So I see a tweet that there’s talk about @FloydMayweather possibly fighting the problem @AdrienBroner.

"The only problem here is mayweather been ducking me for years because he knows styles make fights, my style would cause him a whole load of PROBLEMS. #getthestrap @50cent."

Unsurprisingly after posting the status, many people decided to comment on Khan's own apparent "ducking" of Brook as well as scoffing at the notion that Mayweather is even doing that.

Estin Brown wrote: "U must be bantering or dreaming, and if ur dreaming, u best wake up and apologise."

Ben Holmes wrote: "Coming from the man who's ducked @SpecialKBrook for the last 5 year".

Philip Cronshaw also hinted at this too.

Steve Roche wrote that it must be "national tell a joke day", while Ryan Cullen told the Bolton boxer to "grow up".

Mayweather is rumoured to be considering a return to boxing, with a rematch against old foe Manny Pacquiao making the headlines, as well against his old mate Adrien Broner.

He retired from the noble art last year, beating UFC star Conor McGregor in his 50th and final bout with a tenth-round KO.
