Conor McGregor blames Khabib Nurmagomedov for bus attack – before toasting Dana White with his ‘Proper Twelve’ whiskey
Irishman launches a stinging attack on his Russian opponent, claiming he would be dead if he had confronted him in car park incident
CONOR McGREGOR told Khabib Nurmagomedov he would have KILLED him if he'd have got off the bus the Irishman attacked.
The Notorious was stripped of his lightweight world title after the incident, with his Russian rival later scooping the belt.
And despite pleading guilty to disorderly conduct in a New York court over the April incident, he blamed Khabib's refusal to confront him for the shocking scenes.
Ahead of his title shot, McGregor, 30, roared: "Did you not see me outside the bus, I showed you my hands, no weapons.
“When the person you was looking for showed up you took a s*** in the back of the bus.
"You done nothing. He stayed on the bus and took a s***. He hid and cowered behind women and caused what happened to happen.
"I just thank the Lord Jesus Christ that this man didn't walk off that bus because if that this man did he would be dead right now.
"He would be in a box and I would be in a cell and we would not have this fight ahead of us.
"I'm here to destroy this little rat. He s*** his jocks on the bus. I came back for the love of fighting. For the love of war.
"You're a fake. I'm going to expose you and I'm going to love every second of it."
McGregor's UFC return saw the dethroned champ launch verbal insults at his rival, who struggled to get a word in.
And the flamboyant brawler even "smuggled in" a bottle of his newly-released whiskey Proper No Twelve.
He poured out a glass of the hooch and offered it to 30-year-old Khabib, who is a Muslim and does not drink
McGregor - who brought a "back-up bottle" then got a second glass, toasted UFC president Dana White and appeared to neck the contents.
