Retired England cricket star and former Strictly champ Darren Gough remarries ex-wife Anna 16 years after couple divorced
FORMER England cricket star Darren Gough married his sweetheart yesterday — 16 years after they divorced.
Darren, who turns 48 on Tuesday, and Anna, 50, wed in 1993 but split nine years later.
They reconciled in 2009, parted in 2014 and got back together in 2016.
Strictly winner Darren wore a grey suit for the private ceremony.
He steadied his nerves with a swift pint at his local with sons Liam, 23, and Brennan, 20, before walking to the church.
One the way a driver tooted in recognition, and the talkSPORT drivetime host sucked in his cheeks and quivered his hands to indicate his jitters.
There were fewer than 40 guests at St Swithun’s Church in Swanbourne, near Milton Keynes, Bucks, with radio co-host Adrian Durham on air during the 3pm ceremony.
A source said: “Darren and Anna wanted to keep the church service very small and intimate.
“They’ve been through some tough times, but look very happy together.”

Friends of ex-Yorkshire fast bowler Darren, who took 229 wickets in 58 Tests, said part of the reason for the couple’s first rift was the pressure of his touring with England.
He said later it made him "grow up".
Their second split came amid rumours of a romance with ex-Towie star Amy Childs, 28.
