AMIR KHAN wants to fight Manny Pacquiao AND Kell Brook in the next 12 months.

Khan fancies a December showdown with legendary 11-time world champ Pacquiao, which could generate £20million.

And then the Bolton welterweight hopes to meet his bitter domestic rival Brook, 32, Sheffield’s former world champ.

Khan declared: “I’m 31, I’m young and there’s still room for both fights. Within a year both fights could be done.

“Pacquiao is definitely my priority because he’s globally a bigger name, a superstar in the sport of boxing.

“To fight someone like him would be amazing.

“People will think I could get beaten by him but I know I can do a number on him.

“The Kell Brook fight is a fight I know I could win comfortably. It’s what name I want on my record.

“I’d love Manny Pacquiao over Kell Brook by miles. That name is way bigger.”

Khan spent six years sparring with Filipino Pacman, 39, the only eight-division world champ in boxing history.

And Khan added: “I know a lot about him. I’ve sparred with him and I’ve a 100 per cent record against southpaws, so that might be the right fight for me.”

The pair could clash at Cardiff’s Millennium Stadium.

But Khan knows he will have to improve on Saturday’s points win over Sammy Vargas in Birmingham.

Colombian Vargas decked Khan in the second round and wobbled him later in the fight.

He admitted: “I thought I wouldn’t have to show the big balls but I got into a tear-up. I cannot make the same mistakes in the next fight.

“I read everywhere that the Vargas fight was going to be a walk in the park and I started believing it.”
