AMIR KHAN tops the bill in Birmingham on Saturday following his comeback win over no-hoper Phil Lo Greco in April.

He is up against Colombian Samuel Vargas, the 10-1 outsider.

It will be the first time the Bolton boxer, a former unified light-welterweight champion, has fought at 147lbs since his win over Chris Algieri in Brooklyn back in 2015.

The 31-year-old welterweight needed just 39 seconds to stop Phil Lo Greco after nearly two years out of action.

After his lengthy absence, Khan is working towards another big name bout.

And he expects a tougher test against the Canada-based Vargas, who is ranked No 10 by the WBA, than Lo Greco could muster.
