PSG looking to bring in Juventus star Sami Khedira this month as Ligue 1 champions search for midfield reinforcements
The midfielder would be a suitable replacement for Adrien Rabiot who looks set to leave PSG for Real Madrid
PARIS SAINT-GERMAIN still have a bit of business to do before the European window closes and they're looking to round it up with Sami Khedira.
But, they're being met with resistance from Juventus who want to hold onto their midfielder.
Khedira, 31, moved to Turin in 2015 after he struggled for a regular spot in Real Madrid's star studded team.
And he could now find himself in the same boat at Juventus, as Emre Can's arrival has pushed him down the pecking order.
A move to Parc des Princes could afford the German international more game time, especially as Thomas Tuchel is a fan of his.
And with PSG on the verge of losing Adrien Rabiot to Real Madrid they're in need of options in midfield.
The 31-year-old only has one year left on his contract, but Juventus are pushing for him to sign on the line for a one-year extension.
Khedira was included in his side's season-opener and put his side in the lead with just three minutes on the clock.
The defending Serie A champions secured their 3-2 win in the 93rd minute, but it wasn't quite the spectacle they had anticipated, in what was Cristiano Ronaldo's opening game.
