CM PUNK has reportedly rejected the chance to return to wrestling with Ring of Honor.
The 39-year-old quit WWE in January 2014 and he recently won a legal legal battle with the company.
Since his departure he went 0-2 in the UFC as his planned attempt a forging a career for himself in the octagon ended badly.
The future of Punk, real name Phil Brooks, remains unclear with a WWE comeback looking extremely unlikely.
However, claim rival promotion ROH are attempting to bring self-proclaimed "Voice of the Voiceless" back into the business.
They are holding a huge event in April at Madison Square Garden in New York and wanted the former WWE champion to perform on the show they are running in conjunction with New Japan Pro Wrestling.
Punk has turned down the opportunity according to Dave Meltzer, who stated he has "told those close to him that he doesn’t have any interest in doing pro wrestling."
Fans are desperate to see the controversial superstar back inside the squared-circle but it appears it won't be happening any time soon.
THE TRUTH WWE star reveals horror shoulder injury which kept him out for a year
Rumours spread earlier this year that Punk was backstage at an All In press conference, fuelling rumours that he might yet make an appearance at the event in his hometown of Chicago in September.
And his latest comments may just be an attempt to swerve everyone ahead of an explosive comeback.
