ROMA have reached an agreement to sign Bordeaux star Malcom.
The Brazilian winger, who is expected to cost £36 million, will now undergo his medical and discuss personal terms with the Serie A side.
Roma confirmed the deal on Twitter, it read: "#AS Roma can confirm the club has reached an agreement with FC Girondins de Bordeaux for the transfer of #Malcom, subject to the player completing a medical and agreeing personal terms."
It is reported that the Brazilian star has agreed a five-year deal with Eusebio Di Francesco's side.
He is expected to complete his medical on Tuesday after the agreement was reached on Monday.
The versatile winger racked up 12 goals and seven assists in Ligue 1 last season.
Bordeaux wrote on Twitter: "FC Girondins de Bordeaux informs you that an agreement has been reached, subject to the signature of the administrative documents, with the AS Roma for the transfer of Malcom."
Malcom had previously attracted interest from Inter Milan, Arsenal, Everton, Tottenham, Borussia Dortmund and Bayern Munich.
The Toffees reportedly filed a £30m bid for the 21-year-old, which offered the 21-year-old £80,000-a-week.
But the in-demand winger snubbed a switch to the Premier League to continue his career in Italy.
Malcom started his career with Corinthians as a youngster, before he completed a switch to the French club in January 2016.
Roma have reinvested the funds received from goalkeeper Alisson's £67m transfer to Liverpool.
