Yerry Mina only joined Barcelona in January this year from Palmeiras.

The Colombian international confirmed this week that he had been in touch with Everton about a move to England.

However Mina has now shut those reports down after vowing to stay at Barcelona and fight for his place in the squad.

Mina has made just five La Liga appearances last season and only two of those ended in Barca victories.

He is now set to prove all his critics wrong and will make a final decision on his future after a post World Cup break.

Yerry Mina enjoyed a successful World Cup for Colombia.

Mina told : “I have offers but I want to succeed at Barca.”

“Right now, I’m enjoying my holidays and, when the time comes, I’ll decide with my family what’s best for everyone.”

The centre-back arrived at the Camp Nou in January for €11.8 million and his release clause was set at €100 million.

The deal made him the first ever Colombian to play for Barcelona.
