Tiger Woods in foul-mouthed dig against ‘intimidated’ opponents ahead of The Open
Video, which shows Tiger saying it was their “f***ing issue” if players were intimidated by him, was released to cause maximum embarrassment
TIGER WOODS has been shamed by a social media post showing him mocking rivals in a foul-mouthed dig.
The video, which shows Tiger saying it was their “f***ing issue” if players were intimidated by him, was released to cause maximum embarrassment.
It was shot in May at Tiger Jam — an event hosted by Woods to raise funds for his charity — where he entertains businessmen and treats them to a star-studded concert in Las Vegas.
The Twitter user who posted the clip admits he had kept it until The Open, saying: “Saved this gem for the Major week.”
Woods, 42, is seen holding a golf clinic in which he discussed whether opponents were afraid of him when he was at the peak of his powers, winning 14 Majors.
He said: “I can’t control you. The only thing I can control is me. If you get intimidated, that’s your own f***ing issue.”
Last year’s Open champion Jordan Spieth admits it broke his heart to give back the Claret Jug ahead of Thursday’s tee-off at Carnoustie.
Spieth, 24, handed over the trophy at an official returning of the Claret Jug ceremony.
He said: “I thought maybe someone would meet me in the parking lot, I’d give them the case back and we’d move on.
“But because it was a ceremony it hit me harder. Hopefully it is only out of my possession for a week!”
