Manny Pacquiao opens door to fights with Amir Kahn, Vasyl Lomachenko and Floyd Mayweather rematch
Filipino legend became an 11-time world champion as he defeated Lucas Matthysse in his first knockout victory for nine years on Sunday
MANNY PACQUIAO insists he still wants to fight Amir Khan despite talks previously breaking down.
The 39-year-old rolled back the years to become an 11-time world champion on Sunday with a stunning knockout victory over Lucas Matthysse.
After capturing the WBA welterweight title with his first KO in nine years the Filipino legend has propelled himself back into a position for a big money fight.
And a showdown with British star Khan or Ukrainian Vasyl Lomachenko is top of his priorities.
Pacquiao said following his victory in Kuala Lumpur: “Yes that’s a potential opponent Amir Khan.
“There’s a lot of potential opponents there, like Lomachenko, there are so many fighters that have potential to be my opponent next.”
And he is even allowing himself to dream of luring Floyd Mayweather out of retirement for a rematch.
Pacquiao lost via a unanimous decision to “Money” in 2015 in a Las Vegas mega-fight but he would be willing to defend his belt against the American.
He said: “Mayweather? If he decides to go back to boxing then that is the time we are going to call the shots.
“I have the belt, so it's up to him. If he wants to come back in boxing let's do a second one.
