Pickford has always been the first pick of Southgate's squad since breaking into the first team for the 2018 World Cup.

And despite superb options in Dean Henderson and Aaron Ramsdale, Souhtgate is likely to stick with his man as England look to bring football home.

How tall is England goalkeeper Jordan Pickford?

The England stopper, 30, completed his first Premier League campaign in the 2017/18 season.

He was born on March 7, 1994, in Washington near Sunderland.

What team does he play for?

Pickford began his career with boyhood club Sunderland.

He had numerous loan spells at Darlington, Alfreton, Burton, Bradford and Preston before establishing himself as No1 at the Stadium of Light.

His superb performances in the 2016-17 couldn't prevent the Black Cats from being relegated to the Championship, but earned him a big-money move to Everton.

Pickford has now made over 275 appearances for the Toffees and was named as their Player of the Year for the past three seasons in a row.

How much did he cost?

The Toffees paid an initial £25million for the England stopper.

With add-ons, it could rise to £30m.

He signed a five-year deal at Goodison Park and was ever-present in his first season.

He signed an extension last year that will see him stay on the Blue side of Merseyside until 2027.

Who is his wife?

Pickford's wife is University of Sunderland graduate Megan Davison.

They met at school and have reportedly been together since they were 14.

Megan could be heading to Germany this summer to support her partner.

The pair have two children together.
