NABIL FEKIR passed his Liverpool medical at Clairefontaine, according to the France FA president.
Reds boss Jurgen Klopp is hoping to complete the deal for the Lyon midfielder before the start of the World Cup.
Lyon's club president stated that the France international would not switch clubs until after the tournament in Russia.
But Noel Le Graet has now confirmed that the 24-year-old's medical was completed at Clairefontaine.
According to , the 76-year-old said: "He's in the middle of negotiations and I think it's done.
"I spent 15 minutes with him this morning [Saturday], and he's worried by the France team. He's in good spirits.
"He passed his medical in Clairefontaine.
"That's logical, we've done it for other players.
NAB HIM? What could Nabil Fekir bring to Liverpool ahead of potential £57.1m summer deal?
"He was looking forward to it because the visit he had was positive."
The 76-year-old believes that the doubt surrounding the transfer is just part of the modern day transfer market.
He added: "It's always like that when you talk about a transfer: each tries to raise his price, to lower his price, when there's a hiccup someone wants it reduced. It's part of the game
The French side were in no rush to offload the £57m French midfielder, who bagged 18 league goals last season.
After an impressive season, Fekir was named in France's World Cup squad ahead of some huge names including Anthony Martial and Alexandre Lacazette.
