TYSON FURY'S boxing career has seen a huge turnaround in recent years thanks to his trainer Ben Davison.
While the controversial Irishman will not be in the Gypsy King's corner in his WWE bout at Crown Jewel - the Brit owes much of his newfound fame to him.
Fury used to be trained by his uncle Peter Fury but since his comeback to the sport he has been trained by Davison.
And Davison has been key in devising strategies on how the Manchester giant would tactically approach bouts with the world’s leading heavyweights.
Here is SunSport's lowdown on the young trainer:
Davison, 27, boxed as an amateur and also played for for Stevenage Borough.
He made his name as a boxing trainer after teaming up with long-time chum Billy Joe Saunders.
He first met Fury just over three years ago in Marbella in Spain and they had their first conversation in the back of a car.
Davison reckons Fury can do absolutely everything in the ring. He says: "He can box front foot southpaw, back-foot southpaw, stand there and have a fight and he can do all those things as an orthodox fighter, too.
"Outside of the ring, the idea people have got about Tyson Fury is 100 per cent unfair. He's a stand-up man and that's one of the first things I noticed with him.
"He says what he believes and he sticks to what he believes. He's a very good man."
Says Davison: "The biggest part of the job is keeping him mentally stimulated.
"And I feel like we’ve done that better than anticipated. I’m very happy with where things are."
