During the session, Fred was punished by his team-mates after he lost a game of kick-ups.

A number of Brazilian stars raced over to the 25-year-old and flicked his ears after he dropped the ball.

Fred could finalise the move to Old Trafford from Shakhtar Donetsk next week.

SunSport understands that the midfielder will be signed in a deal worth up to £52milllion, including all add-ons.

He was named in Tite's 23-man squad for the World Cup after an impressive season in the Ukranian Premier League.

The 25-year-old has snapped up by Shakhtar in 2013 for £13m from Interacional in Brazil, where he won two Compeonato Gaucho championships.
