KERRY KATONA sent social media into meltdown after stealing the show on the undercard of Hughie Fury’s bout against Sam Sexton.

The 37-year-old carried the Irish flag for friend Peter McDonagh as he geared up to face Peter Kramer at Bolton’s Macron Stadium.

Former Atomic Kitten singer Katona sent social media into meltdown after appearing at the event

But Katona’s presence failed to inspire McDonagh to a tenth straight victory as he drew against his Hungarian opponent, with his record now at 28-28-2.

The 40-year-old could have been put off by the Atomic Kitten singer, who was letting her presence be known at ringside.

One person watching the event tweeted: “All I can hear is f****** Kerry Katona ringside.”

Katona – who won I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here in 2004 – was ridiculed on Twitter after her entrance, as well as being too vocal as she cheered on her pal.

McDonagh, 40, dominated the fight, but judges scored the bout at 96-96

One boxing fan posted: “Kerry Katona walking out McDonagh to the ring and doing some sort of chicken dance when she got in. Boxing on Spike is comedy gold.”

While another said: “Led into the ring by Kerry Katona… star quality everywhere you look. Can’t help but love the comedy of a Hennessy show.”
