Amir Khan wants to fight rival Kell Brook or Adrien Broner in September ring return
Bolton-born boxer demolished Canadian Phil Lo Greco in just 39 seconds last month in his first fight for two years
AMIR KHAN wants to “shut up” Kell Brook as the star confirmed he is aiming to have his next fight in the Autumn.
The 31-year-old Bolton boxer demolished Canada’s Phil Lo Greco in just 39 seconds in his comeback fight last month after two years away from the ring.
Now he has told that he has no issue being on the same card as his Sheffield-born rival as he knows he it is him who will get top billing.
Khan said: "I want to fight again in September, and I want to come back with a big bang again.
"I've had my time off. I was out of the ring for two years, and I've come back the way that everyone wanted to see me come back.
"It's time for me to get another fight in, and then let's see where this goes."
When asked if he is interested in fighting on the same bill as Brook, Khan said: "That can happen. Why not? I'm the bigger name, and I sell more than what Kell would do. I think I'm No1 anyway, so let's see.
"Is that what Eddie [Hearn] wants? If Eddie wants that, I don't mind being on the same bill as him. Him being on the undercard, that's fine, or we could both be two chief support fights."

And when quizzed about whether he wants to go toe-to-toe with Brook, Khan left everyone in doubt about his intentions.
He said: "Yes, I want to fight him, because I want to shut him up.

"I want to fight him, because a lot of people think I'm scared of him, and I want to fight him, because I want to show everyone that I'm the better fighter, and I'm the smarter fighter, and just a classier fighter.
"Instead of me saying it, I've got to prove it and show everyone that I am the better fighter as well. When the time is right, I'm just going to take it."
But former unified light-welterweight champion Khan also has eyes on fighting controversial American Adrien Broner.
He added: "I want a bigger step-up. It's hard to say name-wise who I could face. Broner. I would like to fight Broner next if I could.
"Broner would be good, [Jessie] Vargas would be good. I would school him. He's not at my level. I would destroy him.
"Broner is a big name, to bring him to the UK would be massive. I'm so glad to be back on British soil.
"That's what maybe gave me that extra push as well. Seeing that you've got your home crowd. I'm back home now and I want to stay here. My next fight here as well."
