THE World's Strongest Man, Eddie "The Beast" Hall, is set to retire... but not until he's made record attempt to become British champion for a sixth time.
Strongman Hall, 30, will call it quits after the Giants Live promoted event at Sheffield's FlyDSA Arena in January 2019.

A victory in Yorkshire would see him become the only person to consecutively retain the Britain's Strongest Man title six times.
Hall is hoping to go out with a bang - as he prepares to go into the history books with a world record 230kg log lift attempt.
The Newcastle-under-Lyme-born star recently attempted the incredible feat at the Europe's Strongest Man event in Leeds - narrowly missing out on completing it.
Hall has cited health reasons for giving up on World's Strongest Man events in the future.

On the event in January, Giants Live presenter Colin Bryce, who organises the competitions said it should be something to behold.
Bryce claimed: "History books could be re-written once again by Eddie, as the Stoke man aims to regain his fitness in time to win an astonishing six titles in a row and retire in style.

Tickets for Hall's final appearance go on sale on Wednesday April 18.
