Manchester United’s Eric Bailly scores disaster own goal against Liverpool

The defender puts Liverpool back in the game with an own goal and comes near to injury in the process.

MANCHESTER UNITED's Eric Bailly has scored a disaster own goal this afternoon against Liverpool at Old Trafford.

The defender was on the receiving end of Sadio Mane's cross which he then turned into his own net.

The 23-year old might want to give Match of The Day a miss tonight after today's blunder which sent Manchester United fans into a meltdown.

As Marcus Rashford put United ahead with two goals in the first half of the game, Bailly then handed the visitors a lifeline by netting into his very own goal past David de Gea.

Bailly then went to the ground after the incident and looked to be injured, however he got back up shortly after and was deemed fit to go ahead for the final 20 minutes of the game.
