Eddie Hearn reveals he’d like to sign Tyson Fury and Billy Joe Saunders and says ‘deep down they know’ Matchroom is place to be
Hearn believes Fury's determination to not be part of 'the system' is holding him back but says they could do 'great business' together
EDDIE HEARN has gone on the record and admitted he would like to sign Tyson Fury and WBO middleweight champion Billy Joe Saunders.
And he believes that both men know that joining his array of Matchroom fighters is the smart move for their careers.
Speaking to Behind The Ropes, Hearn said: “Deep down these fighters know that the best place to be is with us.”
Gypsy King Fury has been particularly vocal in the past over Hearn and fired a number of digs at the promoters for British boxing’s golden boy Anthony Joshua.
But Hearn says the ex-world champion’s desire to not be part of “the system” is stopping him from picking up the phone.
And it is preventing them from being able to do “great business” together.
Hearn continued: “Deep down Tyson Fury knows he should be with Matchroom and Sky, but it’s just like ‘I don’t want to go with the system, I’m going to fight the system.’
“It’s not a system, it’s just we do great business, we have great fun, we’ll take you to another level.
'UDDERS ARE DRY' Hearn jabs back at Wilder and offers to sign him
“It’s nothing to do about controlling you or being part of the system.”
And Fury is not the only one that Hearn opened the door to.

He also stated his belief that he could make Billy Joe some serious dosh.
Hearn added: “If Billy Joe Saunders was a free agent I’ll be very interested to work with him.
“I could make some monster fights and monster money for him.”
