NACHO MONREAL left the field clutching his back after just 26 minutes, sparking injury fears amongst Arsenal fans.
The Spanish full-back has been suffering of late, with both illness and injury and has left fans fearing the worst after he was spotted grimacing and complaining of an injury.
Arsene Wenger was dished another blow as his side went 1-0 down after 18 minutes, when he was forced to removed the Spanish defender from action and replace him with Sead Kolasinac.
Some twitter users claim the Spanish international injured himself from diving.
Whereas Arsenal fans have voiced their fears that by removing Monreal they have left their defence wide open to Sergio Aguero et al.
Monreal quickly got up from the knock he received in a clash with Vincent Kompany.
And signalled to referee Craig Pawson that there was no foul, in an attempt to silence his teammates who were appealing for a penalty.
