Floyd Mayweather and the cast of Black Panther join host of celebrities court-side for incredible 2018 NBA All-Star Slam Dunk Contest
Stars were out in LA to watch the high-flying antics as rookie Donovan Mitchell won the title
IF there's anyone in sport who knows how to secure a perfect 50 it's Floyd Mayweather Jr.
And the Las Vegas boxing superstar - who boasts a 50-0 career record after his win over Conor McGregor in August last year - was court-side to watch some of the NBA's top high-flyers aim to score perfect marks in the NBA All-Star Slam Dunk Contest.
Mayweather was spotted on the sidelines at the Staples Center in Los Angeles on the evening to take in the youthful line-up on Saturday night.
Rookies Donovan Mitchell and Dennis Smith Jr were joined by Victor Oladipo and Dennis Smith Jr to vie for the crown of the best dunker of 2018.
Ultimately it was Utah Jazz guard Mitchell whose astonishing leaping ability and dunking proficiency came out on top in the end, eclipsing Nance's efforts in the final two.
Elsewhere on the Saturday night of All-Star weekend was the Skills Challenge - won by surprise-package Spencer Dinwiddie - and the three-point contest, as Devin Booker came out on top.
Along with Mayweather court-side was the cast of critically-acclaimed new film release Black Panther.
And Oladipo paid tribute to the film, donning a Black Panther mask, handed to him by leading-man Chadwick Boseman, for one of his rim-rocking efforts - but it wasn't enough as he failed to qualify for the final.

It was a somewhat bizarre celebrity panel of judges on the evening too...
For the contest in LA, DJ Khaled teamed-up with Mark Wahlberg, Chris Rock, Lisa Leslie and Julius "Dr J" Erving on the panel.
