The report states that Arsene Wenger has held personal conversations with Ozyakup regarding a summer switch to the Emirates.
After enjoying four years at Arsenal earlier on in his career, the source suggests that he is "seriously considering" a return to North London.
He joined the Gunners in 2008 from AZ in Holland, before making his competitive first-team debut in 2011.
Ozyakup joined the Turkish giants in 2012 for a reported fee of £500,000 after struggling for first-team football with Arsenal.
The Besiktas captain has since established himself as one of Turkey's most promising prospects.
