Bolton ace is on the comeback trail with a fight against Phil Lo Greco to WET the appetite after a thrown glass of water
AMIR KHAN is in the cross hairs of Floyd Mayweather protégé and serial badboy Adrien Broner now he is out of the jungle and back in the ring.
The Bolton ace made a splash this week at the press conference for his comeback fight with Phil Lo Greco by throwing a glass of water in the mouthy Canadian’s face.
And Kell Brook is the domestic battle British fight fans want to see Khan accept, especially now they are both signed to Eddie Hearn’s Matchroom promotions.
But Broner – who has struggled with life outside the ring and was feared to have committed suicide in 2016 after a string of alarming social media posts – also wants a piece of Khan.
Alongside a photo of the 31-year-old were previous opponents Shawn Porter and unbeaten three-weight world champion Mikey Garcia and a detailed caption explaining his plan.
Broner wrote: “This year I will be crowned king again and it starts with @omarfigueroajr April 21st.
“But after that I want to get some get back at @showtimeshawnp and @teammikeygarcia these two guys I can admit beat me fair and square no excuses but I know I can defeat both of these guys so good luck to both of these guys and I hope y’all keep building y’all names so when I come kick y’all ass the second time around it will be that much bigger.
“Last but not least @amirkingkhan I just want to knock him out cause it don’t take much to do it plus it will sell out over in the UK so if @eddiehearn want to make the fight let’s f****** do it….. NOW I RESPECT ALL THESE GUYS BUT LIKE I SAID 2018 is MY YEAR”

In September, Broner – nicknamed The Problem – was caught up in an ugly Las Vegas brawl up against a man and a woman.
A widely-circulated video showed Broner arguing with a group of people on the strip before landing a knock-out blow to a guy and then shoving a lady.
After the incident Broner posted a picture to his social media saying: “Life’s to short for all these f**k ups.”
He captioned the with “Change 100”.
But it was a familiar story for the once-phenomenal fighter who was arrested in 2016 for allegedly choking a waitress at a nightclub.
