KYLE EDMUND is hoping to cause an upset at Wimbledon this year.
The British star, 23, has claimed that he does not fear anyone in the men's game and hopes to one day make it all the way to world No 1.
Who is Kyle Edmund?
Edmund was born in Johannesburg in South Africa but moved to Britain when he was three.
He was brought up in Tickton near Beverley, East Riding of Yorkshire. and soon got into sport playing cricket and swimming.
The 23-year-old started playing tennis at the age of 10 and made a breakthrough on to the Junior Circuit in 2011.
Edmund now lives in Nassau, Bahamas, where he practises his warm-weather training during the off season.
His nickname is "Kedders" and he is a Liverpool fan, often attending games when he is not in competition.
What are his career highlights so far?
Coached by Greg Rusedski, Edmund along with Evan Hoyt and Luke Banbridge won the Junior Davis Cup in 2011.
While also on the junior circuit he won two Grand Slam doubles titles - US Open and French Open - with partner Frederico Ferreira Silva.
The British number 1 joined the ITF Futures circuit in April 2010 but it was not until 2012 that he won his first tournament in Birmingham, Alabama.
He reached the Australian Open semi-final in January, but lost out to Marin Cilic.
In 2013, he played his first ATP tour match and was awarded a wildcard place in Wimbledon.
After being called up to the Davis Cup team in 2014, he made his debut in the 2015 final when Great Britain lifted the trophy for the first time since 1936 after beating Belgium.
He beat former British number one Andy Murray at Eastbourne, prior to the start of Wimbledon.
Kyle took over the as British number 1 in March 2018.

Edmund is currently single and likes to try and keep his private life out of the media.
He was rumoured to be dating a girl linked to the Lawn Tennis Association last year.
In the past he has joked, "I have been told [girlfriends] are trouble."

Edmund was ranked 17th in the ATP men's tennis rankings before Wimbledon.

Edmund was seeded 21st for the competition.
