Manchester United legend Ryan Giggs interviewed for vacant Wales boss job
Chris Coleman left the Wales job to take over at Sunderland after the country failed to qualify for the World Cup
RYAN GIGGS has been interviewed for the vacant Wales manager's job.
The former Manchester United winger is looking to take his first steps into management, and could well be the man to replace Chris Coleman.
Another former pro being considered is ex-Newcastle and Manchester City striker Craig Bellamy.
Giggs has spoken in recent weeks how he is keen to become a No1, and was in the runniung to become the Swansea boss before Bob Bradley was appointed.
His coaching experience came at former club Manchester United, where he was assistant to Louis Van Gaal for two years before leaving when Jose Mourinho took over.
He worked as coach under David Moyes in 2013 and spent four games in charge as interim manager following the Scot's sacking in April 2014.
Prior to Carlos Carvalhal being appointed as Paul Clement's successor at Swansea, Giggs was again linked with the top job at the Liberty Stadium.

But Giggs, 44, when asked whether he still wanted the job, said: "No. I spoke to them before they appointed Bob Bradley. So, no."
Giggs and Bradley both interviewed for the Swansea job last year before the American was appointed manager on October 3.
Bradley's disaster spell in charge of the Welsh club lasted just 85 days.
Alan Curtis replaced him as caretaker boss before Clement, 45, came in last season.
