RONDA ROUSEY has moved a step closer to joining the WWE after being spotted in talks with chief Triple H.
The UFC legend looks to have quit the Octagon for good after two devastating defeats left her career in tatters.
She has been linked with a move into wrestling for months, and has been seen at a number of shows cheering on pals.
And the 30-year-old was snapped with her agent and WWE boss Triple H at the Republique restaurant in LA on Tuesday night, .
The meeting was held during a broadcast of SmackDown Live in Birmingham, Alabama, forcing him to miss the event.
It is rare for H to miss any WWE show, revealing the importance of the talks with the Royal Rumble a little more than two-weeks away.
She was understood to be closing in on signing with the company at the end of the last year, ahead of the Road to WrestleMania.
Rousey has appeared at Mania before, during a segment with The Rock at 31 in 2015 which involved Triple H and wife Stephanie McMahon.
The ex-bantamweight UFC champion was knocked out by Holly Holm in Australia in the same year, ending her 12-0 record.

She was then destroyed by Amanda Nunes in just 48 seconds at UFC 217 a year later, and has not appeared since.
The WWE recently announced a 30-women Royal Rumble will be held this year in Philadelphia on 28 January.
And it is thought Rousey could appear as one of the entrants in her debut, to help set up a match for the wrestling company's flagship show in April.
