ERVERTON have confirmed the signing of Cenk Tosun for a reported fee of £27m.
The Turkish ace has left Besiktas to pen a new a four-and-a-half-year contract with the Toffees.
After signing the deal, Tosun told EvertonTV: "It feels great to be an Everton player.
"I'm really happy to be here and happy that everything is done. I'm really excited to play for Everton as soon as possible.
"I bring my skills here and everybody is going to see what kind of player I am. I believe I can be a good player in the Premier League for Everton."
Although he did not finalise his new terms in time for the Merseyside derby, Tosun will be available for the Tottenham clash next weekend.
Everton boss Sam Allardyce was aiming to bolster his squad in January, and he highlighted Tosun as his top target.
And the Turkish ace appeared overwhelmed by the interest of the ex-England boss. He said: "Sam Allardyce was a big part of my decision.

"He said he wanted me here and to feel that, of course, is another big reason to come to Everton."
Besiktas are reportedly pursuing Leicester City's Islam Slimani to replace the forward.

And the Toffees boss identified him as the forward to add goals and threat to his squad as he attempts to fill the void left by Romelu Lukaku's switch to Manchester United.
